September is Food Safety Month

Happy Food Safety Month!

Let’s kick off the month not by highlighting the negative – of which there is much.  But rather let’s celebrate the positive.

America has the safest food supply in the world.  Before FSMA, before heightened regulations, before the most recent technical advances – we had the safest food supply in the world.

Not to diminish the effort we all make, and must continue to make, daily to improve the safety of our food supply let’s, on this first Tuesday of Food Safety Month, take a moment to thank all those before us who put us in the enviable position of improving upon the best.
